Great Lakes Technology and Business Summit Draws 150

The first-ever Great Lakes Technology & Business Summit was held in Lansing, Mich., last month and drew over 150 people, including 92 integrators. Also on hand were exhibitors, representatives and others in the industry.

40 exhibitors took part in the event, which was hosted by Boyle-Davis Sales, EMI Integrated, Mike Pecar Sales, Pinnacle Sales, Progressive Group, Sales and Marketing Inc, and Tandem Marketing.

The event marked a geographical expansion of the Technology & Business Summit, founded in Southern California in 2008.

“A few people asked why we were doing an event in Michigan, obviously not the one of the larger territories in the US. A market like this often does not get shown the love, which is exactly why we wanted to hold a Summit there,” the event’s organizer, Mark Cichowski of Clarity AV and Integrator Network, said as part of the announcement.

“The Reps and Exhibitors were really behind it. Although the volume of Integrators was not huge, the quality of attendee was outstanding. Everyone was extremely engaged and it was obvious that the one on one time was extremely valuable.”
