Head Monster Noel Lee kicked off the Monster press conference on Jan. 6 with the following words: “Last year we celebrated 30 Monstrous years and it is still a time to celebrate; how many companies get to survive 30 years? We have very ambitious plans and CES is is all about innovation and this year we have several Innovation winners....our motto at Monster is, 'Always lead and never follow.'"

HDMI continues to lead with the now-available new M Series M2000 Hyperspeed Cables for HDMI, the world’s highest speed cable at 21 Gigabits per second, are verified by Simplay HD. Built with optimized conductors, dielectrics and connectors, the M2000 provides Monster customers with the assurance that their cables will deliver maximum picture and sound quality when used with all today’s advanced high definition home entertainment components. Monster speed-rated cables for HDMI are “future-ready” and will not need to be replaced when new HD components are added to their system.

“With the new 240Hz 3D displays coming to market, they require 4x the bandwidth, and we are just the company to supply that with our high-speed rated cables," Lee said.

Also new is Monster's new super thin series of HDMI cables. USB mini and micro cables that are only 6-inches long and advanced high speed display port adapters.

Other important announcements were the PowerNet 350 WiFi; the first powerline networking with a wireless router. Explained Albert Lee, “You can now easily send pictures from your cell phone or laptop directly to your TV.”

Huge news was also a trio of remote control systems that will fit all price points and the latest TVs.

The Monster commitment to headphone technology continues with the Turbine Pro Copper in-ear headphone for the discerning professional and audiophile. The follow-up to last year's very successful Turbine Pro Gold. On a more affordable level are the Monster Jamz; at msrp $119. these are a virtually indestructible in-ear headphone that can withstand being run over by a 6-ton forklift. Monster showed a clip of such a forklift running over a pair just to prove the company's point. “However,” said Noel Lee, “At Monster we  offer the unheard of Lifetime Guarantee: We'll replace them even if you break them.”
