The Consumer Electronics Association may have staunchly opposed the plan by the incoming Obama administration to delay the planned DTV transition, but not every industry group feels the same way.

The Home Theater Specialists of America (HTSA) on Wednesday came out in favor of a delay of the Feb. 17 transition date to June 1, CEPro.com reported. The group's executive director, Richard Glikes, believes the delay would allow the government more time to solve problems with the converter box program and iron out other problems.
