HTSA’s “Contagious Synergy” Conference Gets Underway

“HTSA has never been stronger or healthier.”

That was the encouraging word from Bob Hana, the managing director of HTSA, in his opening message at HTSA’s spring conference, which got underway Tuesday in Scottsdale.

Following several testimonials from HTSA members and vendors, Hana shared some good economic news from HTSA members: In 2013, 65 of HTSA members and 70 percent of vendors showed growth over the previous year, performance that Hana attributed to both the hard work of those involved and the overall growth of the economy. He went on to praise members and vendors for a strong winter, despite the terrible weather in much of the country.

Looking forward, Hana discussed the goals of HTSA for 2014.

“[We’re] laser-focused on generating demand and being an extension of your marketing efforts,” he said. “We’re the guys who can sell the new stuff. We’re the guys who lead in selling the newt technologies, and we take pride in being able to do that. “While things are getting smarter and smarter, they’re not so smart that they don’t still need people to integrate them.”

Hana also welcomed the newest HTSA members as well as long list of new vendors, including Autonomic, Comcast, Greensky, Heartland Payment Systems and Tigerpaw.

He also announced, for the first time, the impending launch of a new exclusive lead management engine called “Lead Me,” in which members will get email alerts about potential leads. Lead Me will launch in about a month.

“Everything is positive- we just need to keep getting the word out about what we do.”
