Video: IOGEAR Wirelessly Streams Your Content to the Big ScreenFebruary 12, 2013
IOGEAR Product Marketing Manager Ruben Lugo gave Dealerscope a tour of the company's booth at 2013 CES, with new products to help you get your content off of your devices, and onto your big screen
One of the powerful new products is the Wireless 5x2 HD Matrix. IOGEAR connected five devices in their living room simulation to the matrix, and showed how you can wirelessly enjoy that content in a second room in your home. There's no need for additional equipment, cable, and installation time. A brand new addition is a USB port for wireless control of the media on a laptop from another room. It also has full IR passthrough so you can pause fast forward and more.
Lugo also showed off a new Wireless PC to TV product. The Wireless 1080p Computer to HD Display Kit supports PC and Mac and allows you to stream your content from your computer wirelessly to your HDTV or projector. It supports both HDMI and VGA with full support for high-definition 1080p. It is as simple as plugging in a USB dongle to your device for plug and play capability.
We also saw the Wireless Mobile and WiDi to HDTV device. A small box allows you to wirelessly stream content from laptop to TV within 30 feet, and also from your smartphone or tablet. Devices that support MiraCast can stream directly to the TV, and a free app called iMediaShare allows Android or iOS devices to stream content to the TV.
