Klipsch Aligns to Reference Name
Klipsch this week announced the launch of what it calls its “Reference Unity” strategy- which the company describes as “a global initiative that will align the majority of its product offerings under the legendary Klipsch Reference series.”
The strategy will establish tiered levels of products, including home theater speakers, sound bars and headphones, while all products will once again feature the copper and black color palette. New reference soundbars and home theater speakers will arrive this month, with “numerous introductions” to follow next year.
“Transitioning to Reference will create a performance benchmark in today’s landscape of low-quality products that favor discounted design over lasting value,” Mark Casavant, senior vice president of global product development for Klipsch, said as part of the announcement.
“Our Reference speakers can be enjoyed by their listeners for years, even decades, and they represent unprecedented performance and value. When a consumer upgrades to Klipsch Reference, they are making a sound investment in audio and their future listening experiences.”
““Klipsch is returning to our celebrated core product line with the power of thousands of satisfied customers already in place,” Matt Sommers, vice president of marketing and creative strategies for Klipsch, said.
“We are launching exciting products in complimentary verticals with much tighter parameters for consistency in the marketplace. This strategy is our first step in claiming Klipsch’s rightful position as the great American speaker brand.”
