Customers this holiday season are hoping to receive laptop computers, 3D televisions and tablet PCs more than any other category.
That's according to an online survey of customers released by e-retailer Newegg.com. Of those surveyed, 39 percent were hoping to receive a laptop as a gift, 26 percent a 3DTV, 13 percent a tablet and 11 percent a smart phone.
The survey also found that consumers are planning to use the web, with 60 percent saying they will shop online for at least 75 percent of their holiday gifts.
