LG Set to Debut Full Ultra HD Lineup

LG Electronics will have a full lineup of Ultra HD 4K TVs at International CES this week, the company announced over the weekend.

The lineup is led by LG’s 105-inch Class 21:9 CURVED ULTRA HD TV, but LG will introduce Ultra HD TVs in the 65-, 79-, 84- and 98-inch sizes, as part of the new UB9800 series.

The line includes the 4K HEVC 60p decoder as well as Cinema 3D.

LG will also introduce smaller curved OLED models.

“Our newest ULTRA HD TV offerings are going to turn a lot of heads at this year’s CES,” In-kyu Lee, Senior Vice President and head of the TV Division at LG Electronics’ Home Entertainment Company, said as part of the announcement. “Image quality is simply outstanding, and consumers are recognizing LG as a trend setter in Ultra HD technology and a leader in moving the 4K medium forward.”
