Next-generation camera maker Lytro announced Tuesday that it has named Jason Rosenthal its new CEO. Rosenthal is a veteran of HP, Netscape, AOL, Ning and Silver Lake Partners.
"Jason Rosenthal joins us as CEO, bringing with him a treasure trove of strong operations, product strategy and engineering expertise," the company said in an official blog post. "As a photography enthusiast himself and as an early customer of the Lytro camera, Jason will help Lytro continue marching down the path of revolutionizing photography."
Former interim CEO Charles Chi will stay on the company's board, while founder and former CEO Ren Ng remains executive chairman.
