MakerBot Joins GE Innovation Strategy

GE announced this week that 3D printing pioneer MakerBot has joined GE’s Collaborative Innovation Strategy, meant to ” harness the global brain of the maker community to bring innovative, new products to market faster.”

TechShop has also joined up with GE. Both will work with GE as they help develop through FirstBuild.

“GE continues to foster collaborative relationships to drive innovation through cutting-edge manufacturing models and partnerships that are redefining how ground-breaking products are made,” Kevin Nolan, vice president of technology for GE Appliances, said as part of the announcement.
