Microsoft to Debut Windows 8, Surface, Windows Phone 8 in Late October

Microsoft Thursday invited the press to events for its three big fall launches: Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and the new Surface tablet.

The company will host release events for Windows 8 and the Microsoft Surface in New York Oct. 25. Windows Phone 8 will have a separate event in San Francisco Oct. 29.
