Microsoft Details Windows 8 Editions

Microsoft Monday announced that the upcoming Windows 8 will be released in three separate editions. According to an official company blog post, the editions will be called Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro and Windows RT.

The latter version denotes devices that run ARM processors.

Windows 8 is expected to arrive later this year but Microsoft has not announced an official release date.
