Various retailers and manufacturers are planning big events in conjunction with the launch. CompUSA, for instance, held midnight events at its 10 of its stores, featuring contests and giveaways of Windows 7 products, while Best Buy and HP are offering a "PC Home Makeover" product suite featuring computers with the new system.
Meanwhile manufacturers are readying all-in-one PCs to meet the Windows 7 demand. According to a DisplaySearch study released this week, all-in-one PC sales are expected to rise in the coming months, driven by both Windows 7 products and the arrival of the new Macs.
