Minarik Named Chairman, Duffy President, at DEI Holdings
DEI Holdings, parent of the Polk Audio, Definitive Technology and Directed Electronics operating divisions, announced that Jim Minarik has been named chairman of its board of directors while retaining his position as CEO, and that Kevin Duffy has been named as DEI Holdings president.
Duffy, who had been president of Directed Electronics, will retain his position as DEI’s CFO and will continue as a board member. The changes take effect immediately.
Mike Simmons, formerly executive vice president of marketing for Directed Electronics, has been promoted to the position of president; Julien Joly, who was president of Directed’s Canadian division, has been promoted to the position of COO for Directed.
