Minnesota Cuts Back on Satellite-Install Licensing Requirements

Minnesota's governor has signed legislation to ease the licensing requirements for satellite system installers. The new bill, signed by Gov. Mark Dayton, creates a new license category for such installers.
The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) spent three years pushing for the change.
The new requirement goes into effect Oct. 1.
