Mountain High Appliance Donates Mattresses After Flood
Colorado retailer Mountain High Appliance, following the floods with struck the region in September, came up with a novel way to help those in need: by donating mattresses to those whose homes were damaged.
Mountain High teamed up with Cornerstone Church, with a goal of donating a total of 200 mattresses. Mountain High has also agreed to donate up to a queen matters for every mattress purchase over $1,499 and appliance purchase over $5,000. Also, for every mattress purchase under that total, Mountain High will donate $100 to the Community Foundations of Boulder and Longmont.
Of the goal of 200, Mountain High had donated 58 as of Thursday.
“As a local business for over twenty years, we’ve had the opportunity to create meaningful, long-lasting relationships within our community, so when the devastating floods swept through Colorado in September, our hearts went out to all those affected, ”Brad Barnett, President of Mountain High Appliance, said as part of the announcement. “Colorado has supported us for the past twenty years and now, it’s our turn.”
