Munster Sees Apple TV As a Year Away

A leading analyst sees a three-stage product road map for Apple in 2013, with the first Apple HDTV arriving this time next year.

According to Apple Insider, Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray wrote in a note this week that Apple will unveil both a new Pandora-like music service and a hi-res iPad Mini in the spring, the next iPhone in September and the new TV at the end of the year. He predicted Apple’s TV will retail for between $1,500 and $2,000, with screen sizes between 42 and 55 inches.

Münster also said that Apple will likely unveil new versions of Mac OS X and iOS at next summer’s World Wide Developers’ Conference.
