The 3700 supplies up to five hours of backup power and the 2700 provides one hour of internal battery backup. It is designed to work with Monster's new Battery Extension Module HTBX 1000 (SRP: $449.95) for additional back-up time of up to four hours.

The two units also feature Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), which prevents voltage supplied to a home theater system from exceeding safe operating specifications. The AVR senses voltage sags or swells and automatically engages to stabilize levels to prevent damage and improve system performance during these conditions.

The HTUPS 600 PowerCenter features Monster's CoolDown, which is designed to protect projector bulbs from overheating during a power failure by sending a signal to the projector to go into stand-by mode and keep the fan running.

Monster also introduced a family of 15 flat, tilt and articulating flat-screen mounts. Lee highlighted the company's SuperThin Flat Mounts, which extend less than one inch from the wall. The models support 10- to 104-inch LCD TVs weighing up to 400lbs and range from $39.95 to $399.95.

Sick of Monster! - Posted on September 16, 2009
blah blah blah... Stop over pricing your cables Monter!! You say people will be "free from the fear of obsolescence", how about fear of being ripped off by Monster for cables that are actually sub-par to cables that cost a 10th of theirs!!! I am so sick of monster cables. Cablewholesale.com sells the same thing, that PC world actually tested as BETTER then Monster's products, and they cost literally a fraction of what Monster charges. Shove off monster, overcharge someone else, cause you are not fooling me!!! p.s. Your cat-6a cables are nothing special, everyday cat-6a cables do the SAME THING!!!! it is a standard!!!
