Current Audio, at the ISE show in Amsterdam last week, unveiled a pair of new speaker lines, the LCR Theater and Dipole/Bipole series. Both lines were announced at CEDIA Expo last September.
The LCR line consists of the WSLCR654FL and WSLCR650FL ($1,099.00 and $699.00 respectively, and both shipping now.) The CS654DBFL and CS650DBFL are shipping now for $799 and $599 a pair, respectively.
“These LCR speakers are a perfect example of our corporate tagline ‘Believe Your Ears’, because they deliver revolutionary sound at a price that other manufacturers can’t come close to,” Sean McDermott, president of Current Audio, said in a statement. “And what makes this line really stand out is the fact that it’s the first true 6.5” left/center/right theater speaker that fits horizontally between 16” on center studs, saving installers from the time and cost of a retrofit."
