Newegg announced Tuesday that CEO
Tally Liu has departed the company, effective last week. Liu will be succeeded as Global CEO by the online retailer's founder and chairman
Fred Chang.
"On behalf of myself and the Board of Directors, I would like to thank Tally for his past contributions to Newegg," Liu said in a statement.
The company added that S.C. Lee has been named acting President of Newegg North America, and that a search committee will seek a new CEO for the company's non-China businesses.
