Nikon Adds Two NIKKOR LensesJune 15, 2012
Nikon Inc. has added two new lenses to its NIKKOR line.
The AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens is a super-zoom DX-format lens, and the AF-S NIKKOR 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR lens is an everyday lens for fx shooters.
Each of the NIKKOR lenses is meant to provide versatility for photographers. The 18-300mm VR Lens has Nikon's longest focal range with a 16.7X zoom, while it is compact and lightweight, and ideal for shooting stills and and recording HD video from a distance. It will be available in late June 2012 for an SRP of $999.95.
The 24-85mm VR Lens is FX-format compatible and is ideal for landscapes, architecture, portraits, and group shots. it will also be available in late June with an SRP of $599.95.
