Nintendo Profit Down
January 28, 2010Nintendo announced Thursday that its profit fell 9.4 percent in the most recent period, due largely to slowing sales of the Wii game console.
According to the AP, Nintendo's profit for the April-December period was the equivalent of $2.1 billion, down from last year's $2.35 billion.
Sales dropped 23 percent during the period, as worldwide Wii sales dropped around 3 million to 17.05 million compared with the same period last year.
