Apple's plans for an HDTV are delayed and the product will not be released this year, Bloomberg News reported.

According to the report, Apple has struggled to strike deals with content providers and cable companies to make content available. Google has run into similar problems with its Google TV products. Apple has also been unable to agree with cable companies on distribution of set-top boxes.
