The National Retail Federation and its magazine, STORES, have released their annual ranking of the "Hot 100" retailers, ranked by which retailers are fastest-growing. New Jersey-based apparel company SYMS took the top spot, with California's Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market second and Missouri's O'Reilly Automotive third.
Of companies with a hand in the CE industry, Verizon Wireless came in 5th, Amazon 6th and Netflix 7th. hhgregg ranked 25th, PC Richard & Son 30th, Sony Style 33rd, Best Buy 43rd, Apple Stores 72nd and Newegg.com 91st. Walmart and RadioShack did not place.
