Online Holiday Sales Jump 15 Percent

Online retail sales during the holiday season surged 15 percent for the holiday season, with the electronics category rising 12.2 percent.

That's according to numbers released Sunday by Mastercard SpendingPulse, as cited by the New York Times.

Online retailers took in $36.4 billion between Oct. 31 and Dec. 23.
