Paradigm Appears on “Extreme Makeover”

Paradigm last month participated in an episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” on ABC and donated various equipment.

The company, along with Pennsylvania systems integrator Wired Home Automation, participated in a home makeover that assisted Brian Keefer, a 24-year-old gymnast who was paralyzed in an accident. The episode aired Oct. 21.

Paradigm and Anthem products were featured throughout Keefer’s home, including in-wall speakers, Reference Millenia speakers in the home theater and Stylus 270 and Rock Monitor outdoor speakers.The company also donated Anthem products, including an MRX-300 AV receiver and PVA 4 Amplifier.

“When we learned the team from Wired Home Automation was getting involved with the Extreme Makeover project, we knew it was something we wanted to support,” Mark Aling, director of marketing for Paradigm and Anthem, said in a statement. “Even playing a small role to help an inspirational family like the Keefers means a lot to our teams at Paradigm and Anthem and we’re proud we could play a part.”
