Paradigm announced Thursday that Bob Gassel, a 40-year industry veteran and the company's vice president of engineering and product development, has passed away at the age of 63.

Gassel, who spent four years with Paradigm, Anthem and MartinLogan, also spent 14 years with the Klipsch Group.

"His commitment and dedication to guiding the development of new Paradigm, MartinLogan and Anthem products and his success in helping grow these brands on the international stage is much appreciated and will be remembered. As a key member of our team, Bob’s expertise, thoughtful input and attention to even the smallest detail will be greatly missed," Paradigm said in a statement.

Gassel's memorial service will take place this Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m., at his residence (11651 Valleybrook Place, Carmmel, IN, 46003.)
