Da-Lite Screen Company, a projection screen manufacturer, announced the appointment of
Mark Erickson to the position of Marketing Manager. Mark will oversee Da-Lite’s international and domestic marketing activities for both the commercial and home theater markets. Erickson comes to Da-Lite from a major electronic component manufacturer having held responsible marketing, communications and product development positions at the company’s corporate and automotive operations for the past eight and a half years.
CEO Izzy Schwab of D&H Distributing was selected as a recipient of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Consumer Technology Division’s American Heritage Award. Schwab is a 50-year veteran of D&H and the consumer electronics industry, and is son of D&H’s original founder,
David Schwab, who started the company in 1918. He and four other CE industry leaders from Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, Best Buy and DirectTV were recognized on November 11, 2006 at the ADL Consumer Technology Division’s “A Tribute In New York” event at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.
