Petra Hosts Car Audio Expo

Event draws 25 manufacturers, hundreds of attendees

Petra Industries hosted its annual car audio expo May 2 at its headquarters in Edmund, Okla., drawing 25 manufacturers and hundreds of attendees.

The vendors demonstrated such products as speakers, A/V receivers, DVD players, CD head units, navigation systems and more, while attendees had the chance to take advantage of exclusive same-day show specials. An Installer Olympics was held as well, while attendees got a chance to register for Petra’s ongoing 25th Anniversary sweepstakes.

Manufacturers on hand included Audiovox, Clarion, Pioneer, Sirius/XM, Dual, Garmin, Scosche, Cobra, Galaxy, Rocky Mountain Radar, American Terminal, Jensen, Sound Storm Laboratories, StreetGlow, Pyramid, Pyle, Stanley and Uplink.

“Not only does our Expo provide one-on-one opportunities between our vendors and dealers; it also gives them chance to experience the newest mobile A/V products up close, purchase exclusive show-only specials at amazing prices and win some terrific prizes, ” Tate Morgan, Petra’s executive vice president, said as part of the announcement.

“This is such a monumental event for our dealers every year, and we’re happy to say that this year’s Expo was another great success.”
