President, Industry Pledge $750 Million For Kids' Technology

President Obama and a group of corporate partners that include Apple, Microsoft, AT&T and Verizon have pledged $750 million to make technology more easily available to students.

According to the New York Times, ConnectED program will improve Internet bandwidth in schools, as well as provide actual computer hardware to students. Apple will give iPads and computers to disadvantaged schools.
