U.S. retail sales dropped 0.2 percent in the month of May, the first monthly drop in that figure in nearly a year, the U.S. Commerce Dept. said Tuesday.
Sales of electronics and appliances, meanwhile, fell 1.3 percent, the largest decline in over a year.
