When consumers think about buying electronics, Best Buy remains the first name to come to mind. But its share has dropped slightly from the same time last year. That's according to a survey released this week by Retrevo.
When asked the question "When you think about buying electronics, who comes to mind first?," 40 percent of respondents chose Best Buy. "Other" took 31 percent, while Amazon and Walmart were third and fourth with 15 and 14 percent, respectively.
In last year's version of the survey, Best Buy took first place with 44 percent, followed by "other" with 30, Walmart with 15 and Amazon with 11.
