RIM Unveils Z10 and Q10 Smartphones, is Now BlackBerry
The BlackBerry’s long-awaited comeback launched Wednesday, with the official unveiling of a pair of new smartphones as well as the new BlackBerry 10 operating system.
At the New York event, the company showed the touchscreen BlackBerry Z10 and the keyboarded BlackBerry Q10.
The Z10 will retail for $199.99 and arrive in mid-March and the Q10 for an undisclosed price when it becomes available in April.
The biggest surprise of the day was the news that Research in Motion is changing its name to that of its signature product, BlackBerry.
