Risch, Formerly of RadioShack, Named hhgregg COO

hhgregg announced Wednesday that it has hired Troy Risch, who recently left his position with RadioShack, as its new chief operating officer.

Risch, who also previously worked for Target, was RadioShack’s executive vice president of Store Operations until leaving last month.

“Troy’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge will make him a key addition to hhgregg’s executive team,” CEO Dennis May said in a statement. “As we continue to transform the company, Troy’s expansive experience in retail store operations and real estate will be instrumental in driving the strategic initiatives for hhgregg’s long-term growth. We look forward to Troy joining the team.”
