Samsung Readies Galaxy Player

Samsung will soon unveil a Galaxy device, called the Galaxy Player, meant to compete with Apple's iPod, the site Samsung Hub reported Monday.

Samsung has confirmed the arrival of the device, which will debut at International CES next week. The product will run Android 2.2 and be based on the Galaxy S line of smartphones. The Galaxy Player will include Wi-Fi, two cameras and access to the Android Market.

The Galaxy Player will come in 8GB, 16Gb and 32GB denominations.
