Sears, Kmart Offer Christmas Club Cards

Sears and Kmart are offering a customers a chance to get an early jump on the holidays. The two retailers, which share a parent holding company, have introduced a new twist on the Christmas Club card, offering customers a chance to earn up to $100 in savings.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, customers can sign up for the cards between now and the end of October, and earn 3 percent on the amount they've saved, as of mid-November. The purpose of the cards is to allow customers to save money leading into the holiday shopping season.
