Sharp Electronics announced Tuesday that it is expanding its Aquos Advantage support program to smaller model LCD TVs. The program now applies to 32" and 37" models, after previously being restricted to 42" and above. The program, the company said, provides "expanded customer support, priority repair services and a personalized homepage with comprehensive information about their AQUOS product."
On the same day another HDTV manufacturer, Panasonic, also announced an expansion of its TV-specific support program. The company announced that it will make its Panasonic VIERA Concierge service available to all potential customers; it is typically open only to those who already own the products.
The program is now open to all, and will remain so throughout the holiday season and up until the analog signal shutoff in February.
