Some Ritz Camera Stores Reopened
C&A Marketing, Inc., has announced the reopening of 18 Ritz Camera & Image retail locations, as well as the online RitzPix.com. The move follows C&A’s purchase of the Ritz brand following its bankruptcy earlier this year.
The locations include three in Maryland (Annapolis, Towson and Bethesda), four in Texas (two in Dallas and one each in San Antonio and Plano), two in California (Riverside and Pleasant HIll) and one each in Virginia Beach, Va., Huntersville, N.C., Atlanta, Homewood, Ala.; Germantown, Tenn.; Northbrook, Ill.; Salt Lake City, Portland and Bellevue, Wash.
In-store celebrations are scheduled for Nov. 18.
“We chose these eighteen stores to re-open because they are in key markets across the country that need a personal, knowledgeable photo speciality shop, which also serve as an integral part of their communities. Even though the photo industry continues to transform, we are dedicated to bringing a new, sustainable business model to the Ritz Camera stores and their customers,” Harry Klein, President of C&A Marketing, said in a statement.
“Our strategic investment focuses on integrating our online sites with our retail locations, and to offer a one-stop photography resource where customers can purchase premium products and popular imaging gifts… all while working one-on-one with the local experts our customers have grown to know and respect. The Ritz Camera Family of brands has long been synonymous with high quality customer service and we plan to uphold that proud tradition, while updating the retail mix to reflect current market dynamics.”
