Sony Debuts Home Theater System, Sound Bars
Sony Tuesday introduced some additons to its audio product line, including a 5.1 channel home theater system and a pair of sound bars.
The HT-SF470 home theater system is 3D-capable along with a 3D Blu-ray Disc player. Retailing for $550, the system includes floor standing front and rear speakers, as well as a Digital Media Port for iPod.
The company also introduced HT-CT350 and HT-CT150 3.1 channel sound bars, both of which feature lossless linear pulse code modulation (LPCM) Blu-ray Disc audio and Bravia Sync.
“Sony is the only company innovating in every stage of 3D from creation to playback,” Brian Siegel, vice president of Sony’s home audio and video business, said as part of the announcement. “Leveraging this depth of expertise and experience allows the company to deliver the best 3D devices for an unequaled entertainment experience.”
