Sound Advice to Open Florida ShowroomNovember 8, 2012 By Stephen Silver
Sound Advice this week announced the beginning of a rollout of new showrooms throughout Florida, the first of which has opened in Boca Raton, Fla.
The showroom is the company's second overall, after a Fort Lauderdale location opened in 2011. The new showroom will feature products in the home, car and boat categories, from such brands as Yamaha, Martin Logan, Monitor Audio, Integra, Krell, Atlantic Technology, Sim Audio, Moon, Alpine, Pioneer, JL Audio, Kenwood, Sony, Epson, McIntosh, Marantz, DPI, Samsung, Sony, Elite and Mitsubishi.
“ We have spent the last twelve months patiently evaluating consumer response to our return to the marketplace, discovering whether the original Sound Advice style of doing business still had appeal, and if the Sound Advice brand still had value," president and CEO Peter Beshouri said in a statement.
"Frankly, we've been overwhelmed by the response of both the public and our vendors."
Sound Advice, which started in the 1970s, was sold to Tweeter in 2001, and was revived last year after the original owners purchased the name and assets following Tweeter's bankruptcy.
