SpeakerCraft kicked off CEDIA Expo this week in Indianapolis with the introduction of a wireless whole-house music system, a Bluetooth-enabled TV sound system, and an expansion to its Profile speaker line.

The SYNERGi system is SpeakerCraft's latest entry into the wireless audio market and is aimed at installers focused on existing homes. The system includes a transmitter that accepts inputs from up to four sources and can provide audio to as many as eight receivers. It has three stereo analog line level 3.5 audio inputs.

The 35 watt, two-channel digital amplifier is built into the SYNERGi Receiver and achieves quality AVRs from a Texas Instruments Equibit chipset, which can drive a wide range of loudspeakers to high levels with clarity and dynamic range, according to the company.

The receiver is also Bluetooth enabled for streaming music from portable devices and computers.

SpeakerCraft is offering dealers a SYNERGi demo kit they can use in their showrooms or out in the field. The Synergi transmitter and amplified receiver carries an MSRP of $680, with additional receivers priced at $430.

With its CS3 TV Speaker (MSRP $699), SpeakerCraft said it focused the sound design on improving male and female vocals, increased higher listening levels for larger rooms, and deep bass. The twin 5¼-inch woofers are built into a tuned enclosure for low-end bass.

The CS3 includes Bluetooth, a bass-reflex enclosure, custom DSP electronics and bi-amplification. These include two 5¼" long-throw subwoofers, four 2½" midranges and two 1" soft dome tweeters with midrange-tweeter-midrange positioning for optimum imaging.

The speaker works with TVs mounted on stands or wall mounted and can support up to 160 pounds.

SpeakerCraft is also offering dealers "The Big Red Button" demo, a large button that compares the sound system in the TV and the effect of the SpeakerCraft CS3 TV Speaker has on it.

SpeakerCraft also expanded its Profile speaker line, up to 25 models today, to include the AIM Cinema Five (MSRP $999 each), the AIM Cinema Three (MSRP $849 each), the AIM Cinema One (MSRP $549 pair) and the AIM7 MT Three (MSRP $599 pair).
