Nationwide Marketing Group (NMG) announced Wednesday that broadcast journalist and former ESPN host Roy Firestone will be the keynote speaker at their PrimeTIme! Kickoff on Aug. 17 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. The PrimeTime! event is the official start of the largest three-day vendor exhibition and buying show for independent electronics, appliances and furniture dealers in the U.S.
“We are excited to have Roy Firestone kick off PrimeTime! in Vegas,” said Nationwide President Ed Kelly said in a statement. “HIs ability to inspire a crowd and his exceptional vocal talents are sure to entertain and motivate all who attend.”
Firestone, who has interviewed prominent athletes, politicians and entertainers throughout his career, now entertains live audiences with humorous accounts of his experiences interviewing famous personalities. He formerly hosted the “Up Close” interview show on ESPN.
Inspirational painter Michael Israel, who is known for his high energy shows, is set to share the stage with Firestone.
