Systemax announced Tuesday that North American Technology Products Group chief executive officer
David Sprosty has resigned. Sprosty intends to return to his consulting career, and also assist the company with special projects.

Robert Leeds will step in to replace Sprosty.
Sprosty had been CEO since 2011, when Gilbert Fiorentino resigned.
“We thank David for his contributions and wish him well in his future endeavors," Leeds said in a statement. "Together with my brothers Robert and Bruce and our entire management team, we are moving forward focused on addressing our challenges in this business and strengthening our competitive position.”
