Staples Launches Electronics Trade-InsNovember 21, 2011
Staples Friday announced the launch of a new electronics trade-in program with the help of Gazelle.com.
The retailer will accept electronics from over 20 product categories and accept them in exchange for Staples gift cards.
"By working with Gazelle, we're able to reward our customers for their used electronics and support the reuse of these devices, the best kind of recycling," Mark Buckley, vice president, environmental affairs at Staples, said as part of the announcement.
"This new Tech Trade-In program, along with our existing easy technology recycling program offered at stores nationally, will help Staples reach our goal of recycling 40 million pounds of electronics by 2020."
