Stewart Filmscreen Unveils Firehawk G4, Transformer and Visionary at CEDIASeptember 27, 2013
Stewart Filmscreen announced that Firehawk G4, a flexible front projection screen surface is now shipping. The screen surface is made of completely opaque material to preserve light from the projector. The Firehawk G4 is available in sizes up to 8' tall by 90' wide and it features a wider viewing cone.
Grant Stewart, CEO Stewart Filmscreen, said in a press release:
"FireHawk was designed to provide the best possible trade-off between image fidelity and ambient light resistance. With improvements to uniformity and off-axis viewing, G4 brings FireHawk even closer to the reference quality and image fidelity that have long been synonymous with Stewart Filmscreen."
The FIreHawk G4 is Ultra HD ready and is optimized for any subsequent improvements.
Stewart Filmscreen also unveiled Transformer and the new Visionary ElectriMask electriscreen with masking.
"With Transformer and the new version of Visionary, we're giving our customers more options to create a cinema-quality viewing environment in non-dedicated spaces. Not only is Transformer a highly customizable solution in terms of form and function, it can be easily integrated into a home automation systems so that the homeowner can transform a room with the push of a button."
