Target has launched an ad campaign, to rest for the rest of this year and into 2009, designed to emphasize affordability and compete with rival Walmart.
According to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, the Minneapolis-based chain will emphasize the "Pay Less" half of its "Expect More, Pay Less" slogan.
The chain began rolling out the initiative earlier this fall. The campaign will be used in TV ads as well as in-store marketing and mailed circulars.
