Tech Data Corp. said Tuesday that it has named
Joe Quaglia president of TDMobility, its mobility division. Quaglia will maintain his previous position of Senior Vice President of U.S. Marketing, which he has held since 2007.
"We are proud to have a strong leader like Joe to head TDMobility," Tech Data's president of the America, Murray Wright, said in a statement. "The mobility business represents a strategic growth area for the Company, and having dedicated leadership in place is valuable for our reseller customers, vendor and carrier partners and our joint venture partner, Brightstar. This appointment reflects our confidence in Joe's leadership capabilities and affirms our commitment to mobility in the channel."
