Best Buy Employee Accused of Stealing Reward Points
An employee at Best Buy's headquarters in Richfield, Minn., has been arrested for stealing nearly $10,000 in rewards points from the company. According to Minneapolis news station KARE, the man has been charged with theft by swindle after allegedly taking customers' points for 12 transactions in which he bought items for himself.

Ford Dix Case Reaches Trial
The trial of five men accused of planning to carry out a terrorist attack at Fort Dix in New Jersey- in a plot that prosecutors say was busted when a Circuit City clerk noticed suspicious activity on a videotape- got underway in Camden, N.J., late last month. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer the clerk, 27-year-old Brian Morgenstern, is expected to testify at the federal trial.

Nashville Man, Wife Accused of Trading Electronics For Drugs
A man in Nashville has been arrested for a series of crimes in which he broke into condominiums and stole televisions and other electronics, after which he traded the items in exchange for drugs. According to the Nashville City Paper, the man was accused of unlawful cocaine possession, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and smuggling cocaine into jail, while his wife was charged with unlawful cocaine possession, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation and being a fugitive from justice; burglary and theft charges are likely follow.

Mass. Best Buy Robbed at Gun Point
A 19-year-old Massachusetts man robbed an area Best Buy at gun point of $15,000 in cash and checks. According to the Daily News Transcript newsletter, the man entered the store, pulled a gun on the manager, and forced him to open the store's safe. Police later apprehended him outside a nearby restaurant.

Man Caught Stealing Wii Games
An Oregon man has been arrested for stealing a half-dozen Nintendo Wii games- with a value of $300- from a Target location. The man, thought to have "a taste of high-tech toys," is 20 years old and was caught on camera; his picture is posted on the Web site of TV station KPTV.

Circuit City Employee Caught Stealing
A man working at a Circuit City store on Long Island was arrested last week and accused of stealing $2,000 worth of merchandise from the store and covering it up by making false computer entries. According to Newsday, the 19-year-old man was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records.
