This year's edition of
SINOCES will take place in July, with focuses on 3D, telecommunications and connected home appliances, the Consumer Electronics Association said Wednesday. SINOCES is scheduled for July 8-11 in Qingdao, China.
“The Chinese CE market is booming – it accounts for 13 percent of the entire global consumer electronics industry,” said
Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA. “SINOCES provides international consumer technology companies with an opportunity to break into this dynamic marketplace which, with support of the CECC and the City of Qingdao, has grown into China’s largest trade event for technology.”
The event will feature an International Forum on Sustainability of Consumer Electronics, as well as the 3G Telecommunication Pavilion and the CES Best of Innovations Product Showcase. Shapiro himself and former U.S. Trade Representative Susan Schwab will deliver keynote addresses during the event.
