Toys "R" Us Plans a Tablet

Toys "R" Us, which has recently upped its consumer electronics profile, will soon begin selling a proprietary tablet targeted at children, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

The product, known as the Tabeo, will retail or $149.99, and will be available in October.

Preorders are already open online. The company's site says the tablet comes preloaded with over 50 apps, and more than 7,000 free games are available.
